  • Michael Levitt
  • Period of stay:

Professor Michael Levitt is the Laureate of 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, member of the American National Academy of Sciences, member of the British Royal Academy of Science and tenured professor of Structural Biology at Stanford University. Levitt is a pioneer in developing a molecular dynamics simulation method for protein and DNA. He has long been dedicated to evaluate protein structure prediction, study protein folding and packing, and establish a scoring system for structure comparison of large-scale sequences. In 2018, Levitt joined Fudan University, where he founded the Multiscale Research Institute of Complex Systems (MRICS).
