报告人: Doctor Michael Kuhn
讲者简介: Michael Kuhn is staff scientist in the research group of Prof. Peer Bork at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany. He is working on various aspects of the microbiome, for example analyzing the response of gut bacteria to drugs in an in vitro screen. Before joining EMBL in 2016, he worked as post-doc at the BIOTEC and the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, Germany. There, his research focused on the evolution of the centrosome, tissue-specific gene expression and the analysis of a large-scale RNAi screen. After undergraduate studies in computer science at the Caltech (Pasadena, California/USA), he obtained a PhD in the lab Peer Bork at the EMBL Heidelberg in 2009.
