The Brain and Intelligence Science Alliance (BISA) has been established as a platform to raise the research impact of both institutions through inter-disciplinary translational research in the fields related to data science, neuroscience and intelligence. The ultimate goal of BISA is to train research leaders, advance technology innovation and scientific research, and to secure practical applications for science and technology.

The four main research areas of BISA are: Cognitive Neuroscience and Brain Disorders, Computational Neuroscience and Neural Engineering, Impact of Al on Ethics, Arts and Society; and Artificial Intelligence and Brain-Inspired Intelligence.
