On the afternoon of September 20, 2016, Yongqing Yuan, the director of medical research and medical industry of NVIDIA, China, visited ISTBI.

Yongqing Yuan introduced the deep learning strategy of NVIDIA, especially its GPU-based deep learning system, which has been widely used in data centers, supercomputing centers and media entertainment, scientific research and other industries.

Prof. Jianfeng Feng introduced the current research achievements of the Institute and the future strategic direction of deep learning and brain-inspired intelligence. Director Yongqing Yuan expressed the desire of NVIDIA Corporation to look forward to cooperating with ISTBI in the field of deep learning. The two sides reached a preliminary intention of the next step in cooperation and docking.
