Professor Edmund Rolls Attended the Pujiang Innovation Forum

Professor Edmund Rolls, our visiting professor of the institute and the professor of University of Warwick was invited to attend the Pujiang Innovation Forum on 2016.9.25.

Pujiang Innovation Forum is an important official forum co-sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, founded in 2008. Since 2014, Fudan University has been invited to participate in the organization and planning of the Pudong Innovation Forum for three consecutive years, and has been the principal member of the “Future Science” sub-forum, inviting leaders, scholars and leaders from around the world.

The Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-Inspired Intelligence as the internal support unit of Fudan University has been taken part in the process of inviting guests and preparation of the forum for three consecutive years. This year’s Future Science Sub-Forum, with the theme of “Imagine Changing the World”, invited five scientists from the fields of life sciences, artificial intelligence and virtual reality to discuss the significant advances in cutting-edge technology and the changes in human social life in the future. Professor Edmund Rolls presented at the forum “Innovative Applications of Big Data in Neuroscience: Understanding Human Decision Making and Emotional Systems”. Teachers and student of the Institution attended the forum.
