Dean Feng was elected as the expert of the compilation group of the Artificial Intelligent Project 2.0 of China

On Sep 1st, 2016, professor Feng, dean of the Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-Inspired Intelligence, Fudan University, was invited to the meeting of the founding of the expert committee and the discussion of the planning of the Artificial Intelligent Project 2.0 of China hosted by the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE). This meeting was according to the idea approved by the governor of China. The CAE was commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Technology to draw up ‘ the medium and long term strategy aiming at supporting the leading of artificial intelligence development in 2030’.

The expert group has gone through a discussion in-depth about this strategy. They intended to start from multiple directions including artificial intelligence of big data, group intelligence, perception and cross-media reasoning, hybrid intelligence, self-service unmanned system and new application to establish this plan. Professor Feng was elected a member of the expert group of artificial intelligence of big data.
