  • Brief Introduction:Dr Xiao Chang is an Associate Researcher at Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-Inspired Intelligence (ISTBI), Fudan University. Dr. Chang’s research focuses on the imaging-genetic mechanisms of common psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and depression. By integrating neuroimaging, genetic data, and computational modeling, her work aims to uncover how alterations in brain structure, function, and neurochemistry relate to clinical symptoms, cognitive dysfunction, and underlying pathophysiological processes. Dr. Chang received her bachelor's degree in Materials Physics from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2011, a master's degree in Psychology from the Fourth Military Medical University in 2014, and a Ph.D. in Clinical and Experimental Neuroscience from Utrecht University in 2019. Afterwards, Dr. Chang joined the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London as a postdoctoral researcher from 2019 to 2020. Dr. Chang has received research grants from the National Key R&D Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. She is also a recipient of the "Everest Talent Program" from the Frontier Science Center for Brain Science, Ministry of Education.
